MTB Foundation presents its 10th ‘Bravery & Courage Award’ to Late Engineer Md. Delwar Hossain

MTB Foundation has recently presented its 10th MTB ‘Bravery & Courage’ Award to the family of Late Engineer Md. Delwar Hossain, a former student of BUET and Executive Engineer of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC). Md. Delwar Hossain, an intransigent personality against bribery, had to sacrifice his life for his determination in adhering to honesty and firm stance against corruption in the society.
A special crest and a cheque were handed over to the family members of Late Engineer Md. Delwar Hossain through a simple ceremony at the Bank’s Corporate Head Office, MTB Centre, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212 in the presence of the MTB Chairman, Md. Wakiluddin, Vice Chairman, Md. Abdul Malek & Director, Rashed Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & CAMLCO, Rais Uddin Ahmad, Group Company Secretary, Malik Muntasir Reza and the Chief Executive Officer (Acting) of MTB Foundation, Samia Chowdhury.

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) had introduced the MTB ‘Bravery and Courage’ Award in 2012 with a view to recognizing acts of bravery and rewarding selfless individuals and their families.
