12th MTB Foundation Bravery & Courage Award presented to Late Salman Farzi Shameem

MTB Foundation has recently presented its 12th Bravery & Courage Award to the family of Late Salman Farzi Shameem who lost his life trying to save three (3) minor siblings from a Khulna-Chilahati bound train at Bou Bazar Village of Kundapukur Union of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila.

A special cheque and a crest were handed over to the family members of Late Salman Farzi Shameem through a simple ceremony held at the Bank’s Corporate Head Office, MTB Centre, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212 in the presence of Syed Manzur Elahi, Founding Chairman & Vice Chairman, Md. Abdul Malek, Chairman, Md. Wakiluddin, Immediate Past Chairman & Director, Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury & Md. Hedayetullah, Directors, Nasreen Sattar, Independent Director, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director, Goutam Prosad Das & Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Directors, Malik Muntasir Reza, Group Company Secretary and Mohammad Nazmul Hossain, Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. and Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, MTB Foundation.

MTB Foundation had introduced the Bravery and Courage Award in the year 2012 with a view to recognizing different acts of bravery and rewarding selfless individuals and their families.
