Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Dvive Financial Services Ltd marked a significant milestone on April 25, 2024 with the signing of a Remittance Disbursement Agreement for Wage Earners and Service Remittance. The ceremony took place at MTB Centre, the Corporate Head Office of MTB.
Representing their respective organizations at the ceremony, Md. Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Divisional Head of Retail Banking from MTB and Anisul Islam, Director & CEO from Dvive inked the agreement. The signing event was attended by Senior Management from both entities; Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary of MTB, Khondoker Asif Khaled, Vice President & In-Charge, Non-Resident Banking, of MTB and Francis Gomes, Director, Sales & Marketing, Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Compliance Officer and Cyprian Gomes, Chief Operating Officer from Dvive along with other senior management from both organizations attended the ceremony.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO appreciated the initiative taken by the Dvive Financial Services Ltd and Non-Resident Banking Division team for establishing business relationship with MTB. This relationship will facilitate to increase inward remittances from Freelancers in addition to Wage Earners by providing end-to-end connectivity. This relationship will help to increase the Country’s foreign currency remittance. Rahman also said that we have a huge potentiality in the service remittance sector where Dvive can play a vital role for simplifying freelancing remittance.
