MTB Foundation inaugurates Water Treatment Plant for the Marginalized Community at Patharghata, Barguna, Barishal

As a part of MTB Foundation’s commitment towards the Environment sector of the country and its pursuit to ensure sustainable access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), MTB Foundation recently inaugurated a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Patharghata, Barguna, Barishal. The Water Treatment Plant, a public drinking water system that uses different water treatment methods to provide safe drinking water, will resolve the region’s long-standing safe water crisis and create access to safe water.

The program was inaugurated by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer and Golam Rabbani, Associate from MTB Foundation. Among others, Shahabuddin Panna, Executive Director, Nazrul Smriti Sangsad – NSS was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
