MTB disburses loan to the Tribal Farmers in Modhupur, Tangail

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) organized an open loan disbursement program to the Tribal farmers in Modhupur, Tangail on 16th October, 2024. Under this initiative, 27 farmers received cheque to cultivate pineapple and banana. In addition, several farmers were able to open MTB Shanchay (SME) accounts (BDT 10/50/100) digitally on-site through assisted services.

Md. Jubayer Hossain, UNO, Modhupur Tangail graced the occasion as chief guest while Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Additional Managing Director & Chief Business Officer, MTB presided over the event.

Special guest Martin Mree, Chairman of the Credit Office in Pirgacha, Modhupur, also attended. Other notable attendees included Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of MTB’s SME & Agri Banking Division, Iftekhar Aziz, Department Head of SME Underwriting, and representatives from MTB’s Corporate Head Office and Tangail branch.
