MTB Foundation celebrates ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2024’

To commemorate the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2024’, MTB Foundation in partnership with Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) celebrated this year’s theme – ‘Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future’. The event was organized at the CDD premises at Savar in the presence of Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer and Golam Rabbani, Associate from MTB Foundation, A.H.M Noman Khan, Executive Director and Gopal Chandra Saha, Assistant Coordinator from Centre for Disability in Development (CDD).

The highlight of the event was the distribution of Assistive Devices to persons with disabilities funded by MTB Foundation. The event concluded with an awareness session about the challenges faced by them with a view to promoting their inclusion and accessibility in the society.
