Abdul Mannan promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB)

Abdul Mannan has recently been promoted to the rank of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) with effect from January 01, 2025. Prior to this elevation, Mannan served as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of the Branch Banking Division. With over 17 years of dedicated service at MTB, Mannan has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise. He has successfully managed three significant branches of MTB – Dhanmondi Branch, Gulshan Branch, and Panthapath Branch.

Mannan began his banking career at NCC Bank PLC and brings a wealth of experience from his 36-years career in both the Head Office and frontline banking. His expertise spans various disciplines, including Board Division, relationship management across diverse customer segments, Branch Banking, Commercial Banking, Financial Institutions, SME, and Retail Business. He also has hands-on knowledge in Recovery, Foreign Exchange, and General Banking.

Mannan completed his BSC (Honours) and MSC from University of Dhaka. Throughout his career, Mannan has participated in numerous local and international training programs, workshops and seminars. Additionally, he frequently delivers lectures on various banking-related topics at different training institutes and academies.
