Mutual Trust Bank PLC deals with Terra Payment Services (UK) Limited for Student File Services

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Terra Payment Services (UK) Limited (TerraPay) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the convenience, rapidity, and affordability of study-related payments for students aspiring to study abroad.

Through this strategic partnership, students will be able to remit their higher study related payments more conveniently than ever. This collaboration underscores MTB’s commitment to providing innovative financial solutions that cater to the evolving needs of its customers’ need through TerraPay’s global outreach.

The MoU exchange ceremony was held at MTB Centre, Corporate Head Office, 26 Gulshan Avenue, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212 on February 11, 2025 which attended by senior officials from both organizations. Representing MTB were Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO; Md. Shafquat Hossain, DMD & Head of Retail Banking Division; Md. Shamsul Islam, DMD & Head of Treasury; Md. Bakhteyer Hossain, DMD & Chief Operating Officer; Tahsin Taher, Head of Retail Segments; and Md. Rozar Ibna Azad, Head of Brand, Head of NRB Division, Khondoker Asif Khaled, In-Charge of Student Banking Department, Md. Arifur Rahman along with other distinguished bank representatives.

TerraPay was represented by Kaushik Ghosh, Head of Network, APAC, and Mahmudul Islam, Country Manager, Bangladesh & Nepal.
