MTB and CWASA Join Forces to Enhance Bill Payment Services

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has entered into an exclusive partnership with Chattogram Water and Sewerage Authority (CWASA) to enhance bill payment services with greater convenience and accessibility. Under this agreement, in addition to over-the-counter (OTC) payments, MTB customers can now pay CWASA bills effortlessly through the MTB Neo app and various digital channels using Visa or Mastercard—anytime, from anywhere.

The signing ceremony, held at the CWASA Head Office in Chattogram, marks a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s digital payment landscape. This strategic collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and superior customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process for users nationwide.

Present at the ceremony were Mr. Khalid Hossin, Chief Digital Officer of MTB, and Md. Lal Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of CWASA. Also present were Mr. Syed Mahmud Akhter, Divisional Head, WBD-3; Mohammed Ishaque, Regional Head of MTB; and Kazi Shahidul Islam, Commercial Manager of CWASA, along with other senior officials from both organizations.
