MTB celebrates 1st Anniversary of Agent Banking Department

MTB Chairman, M. A. Rouf, JP, Managing Director & CEO, Anis A. Khan along with other Directors and senior officials of the bank are seen celebrating the first anniversary of MTB Agent Banking Department.
With a view to providing financial services to the unbanked population of the country, MTB Agent Banking Department commenced its journey on June 6, 2016, and within a year inaugurated twenty four (24) Agent Banking Centres in 14 different districts of the country, collected deposits of BDT 14 crore and foreign remittance of BDT 5.7 crore from its 6075 accounts.
