MTB Foundation organizes Eye Camp at Bandaikhara, Atrai, Naogaon

As part of its commitment towards the healthcare sector of the country, MTB Foundation, in partnership with Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEI&H) organized the third Eye Camp at Bandaikhara Technical & BMT College, Bandaikhara, Atrai, Naogaon on October 07, 2023. The program was attended by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer & Golam Rabbani, Associate from MTB Foundation, Md. Zahurul Haque, Branch Manager from MTB Rajshahi Branch and Gazi Nazrul Islam Faisal, Director, Community Services from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEI&H).

A large number of underserved people were provided with basic healthcare facilities including eye screening, medicine supply, distribution of spectacles and conducting surgeries like cataract, pterygium, Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) and Dual-clutch Transmission (DCT). Constructive sessions on awareness building regarding primary eye care were also held at the eye camp.

Three more eye camps are scheduled to be held at other regions of Rajshahi District shortly.
