MTB arranged its Annual Risk Conference 2021

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) organized its Annual Risk Conference 2021 virtually on Saturday, November 27, 2021. The event was chaired by Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman Managing Director & CEO, hosted by Mr. Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, Additional Managing Director & Group Chief Risk Officer and attended by the bank’s Senior Management team, branch officials and executives related to managing risks at the head office. It was a part of MTB’s revived commitment to build a robust risk management culture and remain aligned with the regulatory expectations. This year the theme of the Conference is “Risk Governance & Sustainability”. MTB’s Annual Risk Conference 2021 aims to disseminate the importance of effective risk management across the bank in order to achieve sustainable business growth. The bank’s senior management, industry experts, and regulator’s representatives gave their opinions on the prevailing and emergent risk management issues and outlook on future landscape risks. “The commencement of this risk conference is very timely and its impact is far beyond regulatory compliance.
