MTB Foundation believes in championing and supporting the healthcare workforce, especially the nurses whose significant role was demonstrated during the pandemic. In alignment with its vision to contribute to the healthcare sector of the country in the long run, MTB Foundation recently signed an agreement with Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) to provide scholarship to the financially challenged nursing students.
MTB Foundation, through this project, intends to help attain Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
The agreement was signed byDr. Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, Executive Director, CRP,and Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, MTB Foundation in the presence of Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, GoutamProsad Das, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Group Internal Control & Compliance, Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director & CAMLCO, Shafayat Ullah, Head of Group Legal Affairs Division and Masud Mushfiq Zaman, Group Head of HR from Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB) at a simple ceremony held at the Bank’s Corporate Head Office, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212. Among others,Syed Golam Hossain, Vice Principal, CRP Nursing College and Neherin Maqsood, Associate Manager, MTB Foundation were also present during the event.
