MTB inaugurates Smart Haat at Aftabnagar, Dhaka

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), in association with Bangladesh Bank and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has recently inaugurated Smart Haat at Aftabnagar, Dhaka to facilitate digital payment in cattle purchase. This Smart Haat will enable the Buyers to pay the Sellers through POS using debit or credit card, QR Code, MFS and Agent Banking services. Besides, MTB ATM Booth can be used at the haat area too.

In the presence of Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Deputy Managing Director & CBO of MTB, Md. Mezbaul Haque, Director (PSD) & Shah Zia-Ul Haque, Additional Director (PSD) from Bangladesh Bank, Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager from Mastercard Bangladesh and Md. Nasimul Islam, Director from VISA have inaugurated the Smart Haat through a simple ribbon cutting ceremony in the haat area of Aftabnagar in Dhaka. Among others, Galib Hamid Protik, Head of MTB Operations Division, Mohammad Ikramul Ghani Khan, Group Chief Security Officer and Azam Khan, Head of Communications Department of MTB along with other senior officials from the bank, DNCC, Mastercard Bangladesh and VISA were also present during the auspicious moment.
