MTB inks with Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC for Cash Management Services

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC have recently signed an agreement for Cash Management Services at a simple ceremony held at MTB Centre, the bank’s Corporate Head Office, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212. The Policy Holder of Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC will be able to make payments against their insurance policy at any MTB branch and by using MTB Smart Banking App.

In the presence of Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of MTB, Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Additional Managing Director & CBO of MTB and Mohammed Alamgir Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer (CC) of Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Among others, Md. Arif Bin Idrish, Divisional Head, Islamic Banking, Tahsin Taher, Divisional Head Retail Segment & Strategy, Mohammad Ashik Iqbal Khan, Divisional Head Cash Management & Transaction Banking from MTB and M Shazzadul Karim, Consultant, Operations, Abdus Salam Khondoker, EVP & HoD – Finance & Accounts from Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC along with other senior officials from both organizations were present at the ceremony.
