Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB), has recently inaugurated MTB Women Forum ‘Aporajita’, a network for female MTBians. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MTB Managing Director & CEO inaugurated the launching event at a local venue in the capital city while Amena Begum, DIG (Protection & Protocol), Special Branch, Police Headquarters, Husne Ara Shikha, General Manager, SME & Special Programs Department, Bangladesh Bank and Elita Karim, Singer & Journalist graced the event as Special Guests.
To echo with the theme #ChooseToChallenge of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD), MTB launched ‘Aporajita” to enable all the female MTBians to challenge all limitations and stereotypes that they may face in the workplace and personal life with a view to exceling in their careers. Aporajita aims to network within and outside the organization for knowledge sharing and capacity building for its female employees. This forum will also work towards fostering a culture in MTB where every female employee is valued, respected and given equal opportunity to reach her full potential.
