MTB opens its 112th Branch at Mawna, Sreepur, Gazipur

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) recently inaugurated its 112th branch at Marfat Ali Fakir Tower, Mawna Bazar Road, Sreepur, Gazipur. M. A. Rouf, JP, Chairman, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), inaugurated the branch as the Chief Guest at the branch premises. Among others, Anis A. Khan, Managing Director & CEO of MTB, Syed Rafiqul Hossain, SEVP & Head of MTB Dhaka Division Branches, Md. Sanwar Hossain, SEVP & Chief Engineer, Azam Khan, Group Chief Communications Officer, Mohammad Ikramul Ghani Khan, Group Chief Security Officer, Md. Rabiul Alam, Head of Alternate Delivery Channel (ADC) & Md. Shakhawat Hossain Shamim, General Secretary, Mawna Bazar Businessman Association, Md. Shafiqul Azam, President, Jatiyo Manobadhikar Council, Sreepur Branch Kamal Fakir, Local Businessman, Moazzem Hossain, Branch Manager, MTB Mawna Branch, dignitaries and leaders of local business associations, people from different strata, Managers of nearby MTB Branches and other senior officials attended the program.

The Chief Guest, in his speech, appreciated the spontaneous support rendered by the people of Sreepur in helping set up the branch in this commercially important area of the country, and thanked them for making the inauguration ceremony a success. He also requested for their co-operation in making the new branch viable in a short period of time and help it cater to the ever-growing needs of the residents.

Later on, as part of corporate social responsibility, MTB distributed bicycles amongst 20 students from different schools of the locality under its own project named “Swapna Sarathi”. The Bank also awarded meritorious students of the area with MTB Gift Cheques as scholarship.
