MTB revolutionizes Lending with Digital Loan “ত্বরিত ঋণ”

Celebrating ‘MTB Retail Fest 2023’, Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) launched a new digital loan product called “ত্বরিত ঋণ” for its payroll customer Edison Group. The product allows employees of Edison Group to avail of a short-term loan within a few hours of application, without having to visit a branch or fill up any paper documents. Customers can apply for the loan from their home or office at any time of the day using any digital device.

MTB plans to gradually expand the service to all retail customers as well. This innovative digital loan product is a significant step towards making financial services more accessible and convenient for everyone.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MTB’s Managing Director & CEO, has recently launched the service at a simple ceremony held at Rangs Babylonia, Edison Group’s Corporate Head Office, Tejgaon I/A, Dhaka – 1208. He said – “The launch of ‘ত্বরিত ঋণ’ marks a historic moment for both the organization, as it paves the way for a more accessible and convenient era of financial services.”

Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Additional Managing Director & CBO, Md. Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Division, Khalid Hossin, Head of Digital Banking Division, Tahsin Shahid, Head of Retail New Business, Latiful Mannan Chowdhury, Head of Product Proposition were also present at the ceremony. From Edison Group, Jakaria Shahid, Managing Director, Md. Amran Hossan, FCA, Chief Executive Officer, Edison Power Bangladesh Limited and Edison Marsons Limited, Md. Murad Chowdhury, Head of Strategic HR, Admin & Procurement were present among others.
