MTB signs agreement with SME Foundation to offer SME Loan at 4%

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently signed an agreement with SME Foundationto disburse stimulus loan to micro and small entrepreneurs along with different SME Cluster and value chain all over Bangladesh from “Revolving Fund” arranged by the Government of Bangladeshto elevate the living standards of rural marginal SMEs and accelerate the recovery from the loss incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance attended the event as the Chief Guest while Dr. Md. KhairuzzamanMozumder,Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance and A.K.M Sajedur Rahman Khan,Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank were also present as Special Guests. Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman, Chairperson,SME Foundation presided the event.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust BankLimited (MTB) and Dr. Md Mafizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
