MTB will disburse loan to farmers at 4%

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has signed PFI agreement with Bangladesh Bank to disburse Agri loan through its own distribution channel amongst the farmers under BDT 5000 crore Agri Refinance scheme of Bangladesh Bank. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of MTB has signed this agreement on behalf of the bank. This program is aimed to ensure food security of the country by extending loan to farmers to produce crop, vegetable, fish, live stocks etc.
