Masud Mushfiq Zaman has joined Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) on September 21, 2020 as Senior Vice President. He is the Group Head of Human Resources of MTB.

He started his career as an HR Officer at BOC Bangladesh Limited in March of 2004. He has obtained his BBA and MBA degrees from IBA, Dhaka University and thereafter completed his CIPD & MSc. In HRM & Business from Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, UK in the year 2012. He did his HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Mr. Mushfiq has 17 years of extensive experience in Human Resources, holding various positions in Leadership, HR Strategy & Culture, Learning & Talent Management, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, which included the Associate Director, Head of Learning & Talent Management at BRAC HR & Learning Division, National Consultant A2i in Prime Minister’s Office, Head of Strategic Business Partner, Technology Division, People & Organization at Grameen Phone.

‘BRAC Leadership Academy’ and ‘BRAC Leadership Competencies’ along with BRAC’s e-learning portal ‘Bracipedia’ were successfully launched under his dynamic leadership. He won GP’s prestigious ‘Q-award’ and CHRO’s Certificate of Excellence Award in 2017 for leading the ‘OneGP’ project, simplifying and digitizing core HR services. Also established successfully ‘Innovation Lab’ in Grameen Phone in 2016, first of its kind in Bangladesh.

He has the prestigious membership & affiliation with Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), world’s largest Chartered HR development professional body.

He has also the teaching experience as Guest Faculty for HRM courses at IBA, Dhaka University.

Mushfiq is married to Ms. Chowdhury Samia Ferdous who is the Professor of Department of International Business, Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University. His daughter Subah Samara is a student of Sunbeam International School studying at class Standard VIII.
