Sujan Barua holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting from National University. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and a member of CMA (ANZ). Additionally, he is a qualified Income Tax Practitioner and previously served as an Audit Supervisor at KPMG Bangladesh (Rahman Rahman Huq).

Sujan has more than 16 years of extensive diversified experience in Accounts and Finance. Prior to this role, he was the CFO of NRB Bank Ltd. and has held positions as Head of Financial Integrity, Reporting & Portfolio Management at Eastern Bank PLC. Furthermore, he has experience as an audit supervisor/consultant in various banks, manufacturing companies, and related service industries.
